Is Oxycodone The Right Medicine For Chronic Back Pain?

hello im 45 years old with chronic back pain and i get 2 oxycotin 30mg 2 per day and 2 oxycodone 10mg a day and the oxycotin seam to wear off after 8 hours i ve been on them for over ten years. I want to know if my doctor put me on hysingla will i have withdraws from the oxy and are they as good for chronic pain?

Both hydrocodone and oxycodone are effective at easing acute and chronic pain. They both cause very similar side effects. The differences between the two drugs are minimal, so the best way to pick which drug is right for you is by having a conversation with your doctor.

As far as the withdrawal effects are concerned as both of them are opiates, you will NOT have any problems.
