Is PET Scan Advisable For A Person Being Weak And Tired?

I just found out my brother has been ill . he has lost 70 lbs in the last 7 weeks , cant eat weak and tired. they are now just scheduling a colonoscopy, I think he needs a PET scan, we have a history of cancer in the family. he is also a recovering alcoholic and diabetic, what could I suggest they test for pay you??? never mind

Pet scan should be advised after thorough clinical examination and investigations. Its not a routine test.
In my opinion you should get the colonoscopy first . After its reporting one should go for pet scan.
