Is Perinorm Advisable For Vomiting In A Child?

My 18 months old child is vomiting since night.whatever he eats or drinks vomits everything.my doctor has suggested perinorm,i read in an article that this medicine has many side effects.considering an epileptic patient and currently on valporine kindly suggest.

@ Considering the side effect profile , age , epilepsy I do not recommend
Perinorm at all when there are better , safe , efficacious molecules are
available .
@ Give syrup ondancetron ( 2 mg ) 2.5 ml every 8 hourly with sips of
water , allow eating after 1 hr of the same .
