Is Rabipur Course Enough If Scratched By A Stray Cat ?

Hello, I was scratched by a stray cat - which to my mind does not appear rapid - he hangs around often and we play with him. For my peace of mind a decided to start a course of rabipur. I had the first injection on the Monday and was supposed to go back for the second on the thurs - I forgot. It's now sun.. What should I do?

Hi,
Rabies viruses can be present in cat but its rare so you can have active immunization with rapidure on 0,3,7,14,28 days. But if the cat is surviving after 10th day then no need to take any immunization after that as it proves cat was not rabid . If you can't find the cat then complete course .
As you have missed the dose so you should continue from now onwards of rest dosage.

Thanks n regards
