Is Sterizol Advisable For Bed Sores On Buttocks In A Paraplegic Person?

Hi,my husband is paraplegic he had stroke 4 months ago a bedsore was developed on his buttock we had been using mebo ointment for a month and we cover it w,sterile gauze to suck the yellow matter from the bedsore it help from drying and a friend suggested sterizol. Ur comment will help a lot.

I understand your concern.
See, sterizol is silver sulphadiazine and it is effective in conditions like bedsore and sepsis. You can use it over the affected area.
Also use water bed. It helps as the soft bed avoids formation of bedsore as contact and friction is reduced.
Continue cleaning the pus and sore with sterile swabs and apply ointment.
