Is Temazepam For Sleep Prescribed For Short Term Use In A 80 Yr Old?
I HAVE BEEN TAKING TEMAZEPAM FOR SLEEP FOR SOME TIME WITH NO SIDE EFFECTS...... IS THIS RECCOMMENDED O N L Y FOR SHORT TERM USE... MY DR WANTS ME TO GET OFF OF IT.. HE WROTE ONE PRESC THIS WEEK FOR TRAZADONE AND I AM A ZOMBIE AND LIFELESS....................MAY I HAVE YOUR OPINION ON WHETHER OR NOT IT IS OK TO CONTINUE TEMAZEPAM FOR LONG TERM... THIS IS THE ONLY PRESC THAT I TAKE AT AGE 80..............

hiii dear
temazepam is very safe in old age
specially in liver disease etc
u can take it for long term
there are minimal side effect
trazodone is not as safe as temazepam
if u want than shift to lorazepam 2 mg instead of temazepam
lorazepam is safe alternative and u can take it for long time also
it is also safe and good drug for sleep problems
if any other psychological problem is there than treatment of it is necessary
