Is Tetanus Shot Required For Pinprick?
I pricked my finger with an old staple, not sure if it was rusty or not. The staple was in an old teddy bear I pulled from my washer. My finger didn t even really bleed, it more liked scraped the top layer of skin. I m 25 and have no idea of the last time I had a tetnus shot. Should I be concerned?

Hi, you suffered from pin prick injury.
If i were your treating doctor then i would suggest
1) To get a booster dose of tetanus toxoid, as you don't remember your previous immunization date.
2) As only top layer is involved as said by you, no need of further intervention.
