my son was released from the hospital today. he has been prescribed latuda, mirtz...another med and he states while in hospital they gave him trazadone to help him sleep......while prior the hospitalization he did take trazadone 300 m at night, he was not sent home with that script. it is ok to take as he insists it is and he has a huge problem sleeping
While trazodone is common uses for sleep it's not used lightly. It is an antidepressant, and among the medications, you mention I already see another antidepressant also commonly used for sleep mirtazapine. So he can't take them both, not without his doctors prescription.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
