Is Tuspel Plus Good For Baby Suffering From Cough?

My baby is on amoxil now... 12 months old baby, he has cough and throat infection and mild ear infection, doctor here has not given any medicine for cough and only treated ear and throat infection with antibiotics.. Sometimes he is coughing can I give tuspel plus as I used it before for cough for him. Just not sure if I can give with amoxil ..
