Is Tylenol With Oxycodone Intake Same As Having A Percocet?

I have a perscription for oxycodone HCL 10 mg. I have not taken it before. I have taken percocet and it has worked well for my back pain after surgery. I read online that the only difference in the two meds is percocet has Tylenol included. If I take tylenol with the oxycodone would that be safe and make it the same as a percocet? Thank you YYYY@YYYY

Yes, it will have almost the same effect if you take both the drugs in same dosage as in Perocet. There may be some variation due to difference in composition of a combination drug and separate medicines.
but I would rather advice you to take Oxycodone only and if you are feeling better with it, then there is no need to take an extra drug.
And if needed you can always consult your doctor and get a prescription for Perocet, as it is better to take a single tablet rather than 2 separate ones.
