Is WBC Of 3.3 Level Cause Of Concern?

My WBC is 3.3. It has always been a bit low but all other values are normal. I have osteoperosis, depression, and ITP (my platelet count is normal at this time). I've never had a normal WBC, I'm 51 and I have been in menopause for two years. When should I worry?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A low white blood cell count could be due to suppression of the bone marrow.
As you have mentioned that you have had ITP.
Steroids are used for treatment of ITP.
Steroids have an suppressive effect on the bone marrow.
Thus, the white blood cell count is low.
Is the red blood cell count also low?
If yes then there is strong possibility that there is bone marrow suppression.

Thanks and take care
