Is Zoryl Safe And Effective For Treatment Of Diabetes?
I am a diabetic since 15 years. My sugar level is about F.S. 105 & PLBS is fluctuating between 160 to 200 mg/dl. My Dr. has precribed Zoryl M2 before breakfast, before Lunch Mignar 50 mg. & Zorly M 1 before Dinner. Will this be helpful to me ? and what are the harmful effects of it to my other organs. I have B.P. but under control with medicine.
Hi I am Dr Mittal I am a diabetician I have read your query and will be happy to help you with it
First, I think your sugars are fairly well controlled. The fluctuation in the post prandial sugars may also be due to the variation in daily diet. But the fact that the fasting sugar is 105 is a good sign and so I would venture in saying that the medicines are effective in your case.
As for side effects, the anti diabetes medicines are known to cause kidney damage and few other symptoms. But the fact remains that high sugars cause the same. So it is always better to take a medicine to keep the sugars controlled. Too high sugars affect all parts of the body too.
To be the safest from side effects, you can try insulin. But tablets are usually safely prescribed in a majority of patients.
