Is A Lungs Scar Visible In Chest Ct Scan?

hello sir ,
my xray detect 13 years old tb scar (plural thikning right base fibrosis left upper lungs) i want family visa for uae country because my husband work their . gcc doc said ct scan chest...i want to ask lungs scar is seen in ct scan plz tell me im very needfull....

Thanks for writing to HCM

Yes,findings will be more accurate in CT scan of thorax.
Pleural thickening in right basal region and fibrosis in left upper lung are due to sequel of infection.In your case,it is due to history of pulmonary tuberculosis.
Infection naturally heals by calcification and fibrosis.This condition doesn't generally require any treatment unless it compromises pulmonary functions.
Findings are not serious at all.
