Is A Small Red Circle Near Genitals A Symptom Of STD?

I have a small red circle near my genitals in the upper part of the groin kind of like this: http://static-img-c.hgcdn.net/Media/_640x360/HG218_skin-wart-HPV-effects_FS.jpg, but less intense. It is just a round circle, with red color. It poped up yesterday, a day after i had sex with my girlfriend with a condom, i am worried that it may be an std, what should i do?

thank you for query..It may be due to fungal infection. Please take following precautions.Use loose cotton clothes.Keep area dry.Apply antifungals like terbinafine which is fungicidal.Once subsides use regularly antifungal dusting powders like candid or absorb powder to prevent recurrence.consult doctor if does not subside. It may not be due to STDs as the site described does not suggest STD.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
