Is A White Layer On Stool After Ovarian Cystectomy Normal?
Hi! I recently had a ovarian cystectomy done to remove an ovarian dermoid cyst this past Monday, and as a part of the procedure they had to give me anesthesia, which in turn put my digestive system under anesthesia as well. As a result of this, I hadn t had a bowel movement in a week, exactly. So I finally ended up having my first bowel movement today, but I noticed something very unusual about it. I noticed that there was almost a mold-like white fuzz on most of the feces. (trying to put this as nicely as I can) I m assuming that it looks like this because it has been in my digestive tract for so long? But at the same time I would like to make sure I am not missing something. Thank you!!
You could be having Intestinal infection. Take Tablet Ofloxacin with Ornidazole. Drink plenty of water. Consult your Doctor if or does not resolve in a day out two.
