Is Albumin Leakage From The Blood Into The Urine A Cause For Concern?

I just have received my blood and urine report and I could see that albumin is leaking to urine and following are the parameters which are up or down : TRIGLYCERIDES SERUM 274.94 VERY LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN VLDL 54.99 TOTAL CHOLESTEROL / HDL CHOLESTEROL 4.12 UREA / CREATININE RATIO 14.68 GFR 65.9 HbA1C (GLYCOSYLATED HAEMOGLOBIN) 9.8 ESTIMATED AVERAGE PLASMA GLUCOSE 234.56 RBC Distribution Width (RDW-SD) 49.4 Mean Corpuscular Hb Concentration(MCHC) 31.1 NEUTROPHIL 71 PDW 15.7 pH 5.0 PUS CELLS 12-15 What should I do ?

Hi,

You probably are suffering from diabetic nephropathy with albuminuria. you should have started insulin injections to control blood sugar levels and ACE inhibitors to reverse if it is microalbuminuria.
