General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There are absolute effects over the P450 enzyme pathway system of the liver when you consume alcohol and that is the way which affects the functioning of the many medications.

It is strongly suggested not to consume alcohol till the medication is over for best results and prevent any bad output of the therapy ahead.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
