Is Alcohol Intake Safe In People With Gallstones?

I am 21 years old and I was diagnosed with gallstones a little while ago.. They said that eventually I should have the surgery but that I did not need it right away. I am not having surgery for a couple of months and I know that I can't have fatty foods, I was wondering however if you are allowed to drink at all with gallstones?

Drinking alcohol should not effect your gallstone disease. However, it can predispose to liver problems.
