Is Atorvastatine Safe For Heart Patient?
Yes,,,hi,,,, I m concerned about my mom in ny!!!! She has a pacemaker,,and I heard the statins are not good,,she is on atorvastatine!!!is that safe for her heart,,we still don t understand how she came home from work one day and had shortness of breath and had to get a pacemaker!!!! I m wondering if her mess that she was on affected her heart?!!!!

since your mom is a cardiac patient its always advisable to start cholestrol lowering drugs to help the arteries function well.
may be your mom hadnt noticed the symptoms earlier so she was not aware.
she should get her lipid profile done and alter her dose if required.
