I have just had an endoscopy in which they found 2 ulcers...my dad just passed away of esophogeal cancer...stage 4 and 7 weeks later gone...can not believe he lost 90 lbs and 3 out of 5 us now has barretts...is it hereditary? i want to do lots of homework since I know what my dad went through and I have had heartburn for years...never knew it would get this bad really.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, esophagus swelling due to hyperacidity causes such medical condition and not just this but changed life style plays the great role, and this is not the hereditary condition, hope this helps take care and have a nice day.
