Hello,
What you are experiencing is a withdrawal bleeding secondary to the use of the emergency pill. Since you have taken the pill within the stipulated time, you are amply protected. As the pill contains excess hormone, the hormonal balance of the body is disrupted and this causes a delay in the next normal period by a week or two. If you do not see your next normal period even after ten days after it is due, please see a specialist for further help. Hope this helps.
