Is Blood Pressure Of 100/56 A Cause For Concern?

Today my blood preassurecwas 100/56. I was feeling awful : like...i will throw up now, head became heavy, no power at all. .But just for a few mins. But my left hand is still cold. Worried..... Actually, my preassure always was low ( but not like today) but I was fine. Elen.

Hello Elen,
Yes, blood pressure of 100/56 is a cause of concern. Immediate measures like lifting the lower limbs above head level using any kind of recliners and having adequate fluid intake is recommended.
I would also suggest you to consult a cardiologist/endocrinologist and do a complete work out to rule out any cardiac/hormonal reasons for your frequent hypotensive episodes.
