I am a 51 year old female, i woke up with a stuffy nose and sore throat, as the day progressed I fainted twice, I went to my local ER and my blood pressure was 109/85. They gave me IV fluids and told me that it was viral and sent me home. Doese this sound right to you?

According to the symptoms you have mentioned above i would not be too worried about it. I would suggest you to try home remedies like increasing fluid intake, lemon juice with a pinch of salt as your BP is a little on the lower side. Saline nasal drops for stuffy nose and honey for sore throat helps a lot. If your symptoms persists or gets worsened it is best you meet your family doctor for further examination.
