Is Blood Pressure Of '110/65' Considered To Be Normal?
A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I am 34, 115lb, play hockey and run. My doctor put me on diuretic and my BP was still high. This past Thursday he switched me to bisoprolol-hctz. I just took my BP, about 40 minutes after getting off the ice from power hockey and it was 110/65, is this normal? Is it too low?
Hi This bp is ain normal range. The aim of treatment of bp is to lower bp below 140/90. But if treatment can attain a bp level lower than this, without affecting qualify of life or without causing drug complications, no need to reduce drugs.
Thank you
