Hi there, have had blood pressure readings of 120/80 all my life. Blood pressure checked 2x a year for past 30 years. Am 53. Yesterday morning my blood pressure reading at the Dr s was 145/99. I wasn t relaxed whilst there and was frustrated from a lack of sleep in recent month s. I ve had a sore throat a couple of times in the past month. Could that sore throat contribute to BP reading? Am taking Amoxil. Seeing GP first available appointment for BP reading next week.
