Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns.
For how long u are suffering from it? Any other associated problem? like
diabetes ? any medicine u are using for BP ?
The BP reading which u have mentioned is in borderline. there is need to look at this carefully.
In my opinion u should make a chart of ur BP reading and note atleast two readings daily. then meet your doctor for it.
Normally we start the patient on medicine when BP is consistently over 160/100, but other risk factors should also be considered like diabetes , high
cholestrol.
If i am ur attending doctor , apart from BP charting i will get your basline FBC,
ESR, ECG
LIPID PROFILE and UREA
CREATININE. these values will be used for future reference.
meet your PHYSICIAN for proper examination
Meanwhile stay calm and avoid added salt iin ur diet
Get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
Dr Saad Sultan
