Is Blood Pressure Value Of 159/119 A Cause For Concern?

A friend experiencing a High stressful family Medical issues (father with cancer) has blood pressure currently of 159 over 119. Is there anything we should suggest for him to do to help bring this down immediately. Should we be overly concerned since it s unusual stress causing it.

This is moderate hypertension but still not something critical and there I'd no need to lower it urgently. He should first,avoid salty food and stress. Second,he should do ecg and check kidney markers and then if there is persistently bp more than 140/100, he should have antihyipertensive medications.
