I had bloodwork done six days ago and had hCG, Beta Subunit, Qual, Serum pregnancy test as part of the bloodwork. The blood was taken six days before my missed period. Does the blood test work the same as an OTC pregnancy test where the hormone levels may not be detected when the blood test was done?
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic. Blood test for pregnancy is more specific and sensitive than urine test. It gives you the exact status of pregnancy and rising titres of bHCG gives precise information regarding the growth of pregnancy. Take care.
