Is Bruising On Legs After Re-herniation Of Disc Through Microdiscectomy Normal While Consuming Percocet And Ibuprofen?

I am 26 years old and have reherniated my l5-s1 disc again after microdiscectomy in april 2012. I am about 4 weeks in from re injuring and had an epidural injection on Monday. I woke up yesterday with large unexplained bruising on my legs. Could this be from taking ibuprofen. I am also taking percocet, gabapentin and muscle relaxers.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.

Unexplained bruising once in while is understandable but if occurs frequently should be investigated thoroughly since it can indicate an underlying medical condition or ailment
Many times taking medications like aspirin, ibuprofen, non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, increases chances of sudden bruising. So it could be from taking ibuprofen.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
