Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is Burping, bloated Abdomen And Sticky Loose Stool Sign Of H Pylori?
What are the side effects of the pylokit. I have symptoms like repeated burping, bloated abdomen, pain in the upper right quad, loose sticky stools and flatulence that smells like ammonia. The doctors that i have visited so far haven't been able to give me a solution so i decided to search the web for possibilities. Is it safe to assume that i have h pylori and start with the pylokit 7 days course?
Well come to HCM Thank for asking I really appreciate your concern, the given symptom are not the side effects of the medicines pylokit but it is the symptoms of the disease it self for which you are taking the medicines (H.Pylori) infection, if the regime fails to responds then it could be protozoa infection and some time it could be associated with bacterial infection, and I would suggest to try Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days with Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days, it is advisable to get done the stool culture sensitivity test before starting the treatment, else on tentative basis therapy can be started, hope this information helps.
