Hello and welcome to HCM, The CT scan of the head and face area shows evidence of inflammation of maxillary, ethmoid and frontal sinuses. Sinuses are air filled spaces in the skull bones. Infection/ inflammation of the sinuses leads to symptoms of malaise, nasal stuffiness, etc. Sinusitis is treated by antibiotics. The presence of a calcified lesion in the temporal lobe is most probably due to a granuloma. However, calcification is the end stage of granulomatous infection and symptoms are also rara eat this syage. The disease cannot be detected by any tests at this stage.
