Is Cholecystectomy Advisable For Person With Distended Gall Bladder?

My gall bladder has been distended with an 18 mm calculus at neck region. Diffuse wall thickening is seen . No pericholecytic edema/probe tenderness seen. Common bile duct is normal in calibre and measures 1.7cm. What should i do? I dont want my gall bladder to br removed.
