Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. From your lipid profile results you have dyslipidemia. Your LDL level and total cholesterol level is increased. You can try diet and life style modification initially. Cut down red meat and take fish instead, avoid egg yolk, bakery items, decrease your oil consumption, avoid fried foods including chips.Do regular exercises like jogging or swimming. If then also your cholesterol remains high you should be put on drugs like atorvastatin or rosuvastatin on low dose.Safer level of total cholesterol level is below 180 even though below 200 is considered normal.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
