Is Conceiving Safe After Taking AKT4 Of 2 Months?
Hi, I had a laparoscopy and a tissue biopsy was conducted. I was told that I had a extrapulmonary TB (mycrobacterium Complex) and have to use AKT4 for 2 months and AKT3 for 7 months. Can I try conceiving after AKT4 of 2 months? I learnt that AKT3 is safe for conception.

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. It is safe to conceive while on AKT 2 or 3.
Streptomycin or ethambutol are the drugs which have adverse effects on the fetus and should not be given in pregnancy.
