Is Consultation With An Endocrinologist Advisable For Low Adrenal Levels?
I am taking Epival for bipolar. My GP checks the blood levels. They are almost at the therapeutic level. She says that is ok that they do not have to be at the therapeutic level. What do you think? A few weeks ago I went to see her because was not feeling well. was tired and weal and lost some weight. I was also depressed. I asked her to check my blood work. She said my adrenals were low and the epival was low She did not tell me to increase the epival or tell me how low it was..She said if she is going to be my doctor I have to see her more regularly. I did not know that my symptoms were due due low adrenals, She gave me a homeopathic remedy for the adrenals.Do I need to see an Endocrinologist and do I need a new doctor.

You definitely need to see an endocrinologist and change your psychiatrist if youn are nit satisfied. Do yoga and meditation regularly and try to keep yourself busy and happy.
