Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The wetter the better, is the osmotic laxative s mission. So is it ok to drink 24 cans of beer a day plus a fifth of scotch! My partner thinks I ll be an alcoholic. I say I m getting wetter the better and alcohol is better since it will kill anything toxic like infections, bacteria, viruses, etc. I thing you have to agree with me right?
Unfortunately I have to agree with your partner. I do not recommend drinking that much alcohol a day. It can have serious consequences to your liver even causing liver cirrhosis and liver failure. It will not kill bacteria and viruses in your body. It can actually be quite toxic to your health. It has been reported that a single glass of red wine a day can be beneficial to your heart health. Be safe!
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
All the best, Dr. Raboobee
