Is Crampy, Late Periods With Burning And Bloated Stomach Concerning?
Hi I am an African American female and I was 2 weeks late coming on my menstrual cycle, which now Im finally on but it came with strong cramps first and then Ive been having heartburn like symptoms all day in the upper part of my stomache. If I move I don t feel them so strongly as much as do sitting down. Originally I was thinking I may have an ectopic pregnancy cuz my cycle was late and plus my stomach is getting bigger and harder. I went to the doctor and they did a urine test and said I wasn t pregnant but no blood work done. He told me to go to my ob which the appointment is Jan 14 14. Im just concerned if that is too far to be waiting?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you might be late for the period due to some other reason like anemia, or infection. You had the period, and with cramps. So even the tubal pregnancy is completely excluded clinically. You have got the upper abdominal pain so it must be the gastro intestinal pain. I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a gastroscopy, and U.S.scanning for confirmation. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods for maintenance of good health. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
