Is Cytotec Effective In Abortion By Inserting 2 Tablets?
Is cytotec really effective in abortion by inserting 2 tablets in vagina and 1 oral? how many hours this will effect after putting it inside the vagina? what can I do if this is not effective to me? because I have a friend used cytotec to abort her baby but then after she insert 2tablets and 1 orally it did not work then after that day she took 1 orally again before it was aborted.

Depends up on the duration of pregnancy.
Up to 9 weeks of pregnancy, 800 microgms of cytotec vaginally or sublingually followed every 3-12 hours up to 3 doses is recommended for Misoprostol alone method for termination of pregnancy up to 9 weeks of pregnancy. Usually the abortion is completed by 24 hours but not later than 7 days. If not, report to the Obstetrician.
In case of failure, the pregnancy should not be continued as there are chances of malformations in the baby. So in such case, get the uterus evacuated surgically.
