Is Delayed Period Normal After Taking Mini Pill?

I took novelone from the third day of my last cycle. There was some problem with the additional contraception hence i took a mini pill on the seventh day. I have completed the entire course. But my new cycle is getting delayed. Are there any chances of my getting pregnant?

As per my clinical experience, the delayed periods are in relation with the mess up of the contraceptive pills use. As the Novelon was taken from the third day of last cycle, which should be fifth ideally. Now additional mini pill on seventh day was taken, but the Novelon effect is there inside the system, so there was over lap of the hormone control, which disturbed the normal harmony. There are no signs of pregnancy in your case, and hence wait till the second menses cycle to get the normal regularisation of the periods.
