Is Deterioration Of Kidney Condition Due To IVIG Treatment For Myasthenia?
I have myasthenia gravis and I get IVIG treatments every month for the past two years without any issues. For the first time my labs came back with my kidney function being bad. It s the first side effect they tell you to watch out for. What should I do?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
IVIG causes acute renal failure only. it doesn't cause chronic renal failure.
All that you have to do is to stop immunoglobulin if you are still being injected with. Take plenty of water, it will resolve the problem. if still persist then look for other causes.
