Is Discomfort In Armpit Related To Fibroadenoma In The Breast?
Hi,I have fibroadenoma in my left breast from the past 5 yrs,but recently I am feeling uncomfortable in my left armpit area like if you wear a tight clothes you will get some feeling right? I am feeling like that? Does this related to any abnormality?
You have history of having fibroadenoma in the breast and now are having symptoms of discomfort on wearing clothes that are slightly tight. You are suggested to get clinically examined to detect if any new lump is formed that is causing hurt, thickening of the skin or swelling, armpit lumps that gradually become enlarged, does not reduce may require further investigation.
Your treating doctor may order a mammogram and biopsy to be done to confirm if it is benign. The fibroadenoma can be removed by excisional biopsy (lupectomy), cryoablation, etc. If obese you are suggested to lose weight, maintain healthy lifestyle, do regular walking, exercises and take home made food. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
