I am diagnosed as having Diverticulitis following CT, however the ccolnoscopy was clear. I still seem to get pain more localised and sharp in the left pelvic quadrant. My recent bloods show ESR of 41 and CRP of 5. I am 50plus. What is the significance of all this? Otherwise no health problems
Diverticulitis most commonly affects the sigmoid colon were at left pelvic region. So pain may occur in this site in diverticulitis. Pain may vary depending upon the pain.
So get it done ultrasound abdomen, pelvic examination, stool culture and microscopy. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
