Is Dizziness, Fever, Tiredness Caused By The Side Effect Of Taking Meloxicam?

I was given a prescription of Meloxicam. I took one. The next day I felt tired. I little dizzy. By evening I had a fever, chills. I felt sick to my stomach. My husband thinks I got the flue. I'm pretty sure it's the meloxicam. I had the fever most or all night. Today I still don't feel good. Better, but not good. How long would side effects for meloxicam last?

I am so sorry to hear about this feeling. Meloxicam is actually a fever reducing agent and it will be very strange for it to have caused any fevers. I will like that this fever and dizziness be investigated and the probable cause identified and manage accordingly. beside, why were you prescribed meloxicam for? these could symptoms be linked to the reason of this prescription rather?

Well, if you have a strong suspicion still that this is the probable cause, please talk to your doctor. He may want to pause a little and see whether things get any better without it.
