I ve been working on losing weight loss for a few months now and not much had been working so I though I d try something new I started eating foods specificly to boost my metabolism along with excersizes to target weight loss and it started working...almost too well I ve lost 5 pounds just this week but what I see on the scale doesn t seem to match very accurately what I see in the mirror on with my waist and stomach messurments Do I need to slow down, eat more, or is this fine?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Drastic weight reduction programme is not advisable. In case you need to reduce weight, it would be always safe to reduce gradually. In case you reduce weight drastically, the body might not cope up with such a thing and the normal metabolism would alter without adaptation for change, leading to many metabolic complications. Diet and exercise are the best recommended means to reduce weight. Improve your diet gradually by adding more of protein with dietary fibres and continue with a moderate degree of exercise regularly. Over a period of 6 months, you can reduce good amount of weight and maintain your fitness too. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
