Is Dressing Needed For Puss Filled Wound On Skin Post Accident?

I got my skin rubbed in road accident. My hand skin got rubbed with road. I am applying betadine on wounds and dressing the wound. But when i am opening my wound it is giving small puss. What should i do? is it necesary to dress d wound or only applying betadine is enough?

Dear,
Dressing is not required if its a superficial wound but u must start antibiotics to cover the secondary infection.
Dressing on wound will prevent it from external infection and will help in healing.
For antibiotics u can start cap. Cefadroxyl 500 mg 1 bd along with chymoral forte tab to prevent scar formation.
So dressing is advisable for rapid healing.
