Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Jyothi B L's Response
Hi Thanks for asking Based on the scan and other findings, my opinion is 1. Scan findings of heterogeneous means probably adenomyotic foci is present which can be causing menorrhagia. Adenomyosis is one of the commonest causes of menorrhagia after fibroid uterus. 2. Because of excess bleeding she is anemic which is reflected by low hemoglobin and related parameters. 3. There are a battery of tests for poly arthritis which you can discuss with her consulting doctor. To name a few test for ANA, rheumatoid factor needs to be done. Hope this helps. Any clarifications glad to help again. Regards
