Is Ejection Fraction Of 55% Normal While Suffering From Heart Failure?
Hello there so my husband has heart failure he had an EF of 15% due to untreated high bp and withdrawing from alcohol. He has since followed up with the Dr and gotten an echo car diagram and is now at 55% which is a normal EF is he out of heart failure as of right now?
Hi as in this case as patient is known case of heart failure he must continue his routine medication and control his BP with regular ambulatory BP monitoring,it depends upon his symptoms either he is feeling dyspnea, orthopnia(difficulty in breathing with lying down flat),or chest pain on exertion.less salt and fat diet, more fresh fruit and vegetable proper medicine as prescribed by cardiologist, reduce smoking control BP,be happy not in depreesd mood.
