Can a sinus infection on my right side which has caused My teeth to
Hurt also be causing my left thyroid gland to enlarge ? I just received augmatine antibiotics last night and took my first pill
Last night. I couldn't sleep and my thyroid gland started to hurt and has been tender to the touch and I can feel
It with every Swallow. I feel the enlarged area moved up and down with each swallow.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that due to Sinus infection there has been inflammation of the lymph nodes under the jaw and in neck and the swollen or enlarged thing that you are experiencing seems to be lymph nodes and not the Thyroid gland..
I would suggest you to continue taking Augmentin that is an antibiotic and help in reducing infection..
You can also take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen or Naproxen to reduce inflammation and pain..
Aa the infection will subside the swollen lymph nodes will also regress in size..
But in case of the condition worsen or if there is no improvement consult your treating physician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
