Is Flying Safe After A Dental Procedure?

Hi, I m on vacation and I ve broken my tooth filling 3 days ago. I have no pain in the area of the break. I ve used my tongue to feel for damage and ive felt no pain. Will I be able to fly home without cabin pressure effecting me? Thank you, Stephen.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are absolutely safe to fly after dental filling. The flight and air pressure doesn’t affect the implant or tooth. You can keep a strip of analgesics with you to take in case of pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
