Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Five years ago I had PMR. It went away after a year . I have been diagnosed with GCA 6 weeks ago. I had blurry and double vision. I was put on 60 mg of Prednisone and am now down to 35 mg. prednisone. Still have blurry vision , but not as much. Can I fly with this diagnosis , or is it too early? Also, will the blurry vision and some double vision(when I look into the distance ) ever go away?
Sorry to know your condition. So far as your question is concerned, yes you can fly if you are diagnosed as PMR but only under the guidance of a doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
